Revive. Rebuild. Revitalise.

Polynucleotides are the next generation of regenerative skin treatments — offering a powerful, science-backed solution for skin that’s tired, textured, or showing early signs of ageing.

Unlike traditional injectables, polynucleotides stimulate fibroblasts and the skin’s own healing and repair processes, working at a cellular level to rejuvenate, hydrate, and improve skin quality from within.

At Ellia Aesthetics, we use high-purity polynucleotide formulas to boost collagen production, reduce inflammation, improve elasticity, and deeply hydrate. The result is firmer, smoother, more radiant skin — with a natural glow that comes from within.

How do Polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides are DNA fragments derived from natural sources that act as biostimulators — kickstarting fibroblast activity, encouraging tissue regeneration, and creating optimal conditions for the skin to heal, renew, and thrive. Over time, they help restore structure, luminosity, and resilience to the skin.

Who Are Polynucleotides Best For?

Polynucleotides are ideal for clients seeking advanced skin repair, hydration and cellular regeneration — particularly where the skin is fragile or showing signs of ageing.

Best suited for:
• Crepey or thinning under-eye skin
• Fine lines and loss of elasticity
• Dehydrated, dull or tired-looking skin
• Sensitive or inflamed skin
• Post-acne scarring or textural damage
• Skin weakened by sun exposure or over-exfoliation
• Early to moderate signs of ageing
• Neck, décolleté and delicate treatment areas

Polynucleotides are especially effective for areas where traditional skin boosters or fillers are unsuitable, offering natural rejuvenation without adding volume.

Treatment Areas:

Polynucleotide injections are ideal for delicate or challenging areas where traditional fillers may not be suitable, including:

  • Under-Eye Area: Improves dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines

  • Face: Boosts overall skin texture, hydration, and glow

  • Neck & Décolletage: Firms and smooths crepey skin

  • Hands: Rejuvenates thin, fragile skin

  • Acne-Prone or Scarred Skin: Supports healing and tissue regeneration

When Will I See Results?

Results develop gradually over 2–6 weeks as the skin begins to regenerate and renew itself. For optimal results, a course of 3–4 treatments spaced a few weeks apart is recommended. Maintenance treatments every few months will help preserve your results.

Pre-care:

To prepare for your appointment and reduce the chance of bruising:

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment

  • Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba) for 3–5 days beforehand unless medically necessary

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin if possible

Post-Care

Mild swelling, redness, or small bumps at the injection site are completely normal and usually resolve within 24–48 hours.

Do:

  • Use a cool compress if needed for comfort

  • Stay well hydrated

  • Sleep slightly elevated the first night

Avoid for 24–48 hours:

  • Applying makeup to the treated area

  • Saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, or intense exercise

  • Facial treatments, massages, or any skin manipulation

  • Excessive sun or heat exposure

Glowing Skin, Naturally Restored

Polynucleotides are perfect for those seeking natural skin revitalisation without volume or drastic change. If you want smoother, brighter, more even-toned skin that truly glows — this is your new go-to.

Why a Course of Polynucleotides Works Best

Polynucleotides work by repairing and regenerating skin at a cellular level, improving tissue quality, elasticity and inflammation control. Their effects are progressive, meaning results strengthen with each treatment.

Clinical studies demonstrate that polynucleotides can improve skin elasticity by up to 35% and significantly enhance dermal hydration and thickness following a structured course.

Visible improvements in skin firmness, texture and tone have been observed in over 80% of patients after 3–4 sessions, with continued regeneration occurring for several months after completion.

For optimal outcomes, a course of four treatments is recommended to support ongoing collagen synthesis, DNA repair and long-term skin revitalisation — particularly for ageing, fragile or sensitised skin.
