Results are typically visible immediately after treatment, with optimal results settling over 7–14 days as any initial swelling or minor bruising subsides. Depending on the area treated and product used, results can last 6 to 12 months.

 

Pre-care:

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior

Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba) for 3–5 days, unless prescribed

Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin if possible

 

Post-care:

Mild swelling or redness is completely normal and typically resolves within a few days. 

For best healing and results:

Use a cold compress (gently) if needed for swelling

Stay well-hydrated

Sleep slightly elevated on the first night to minimize swelling

 

Avoid for 24–48 hours:

Touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area

Applying makeup to the area for at least 12 hours

Vigorous exercise, hot environments (sauna, steam rooms, hot yoga)

Facial treatments or massages

Excessive sun exposure or alcohol consumption
